Profiles of young people doing uncommon things: a 14-year-old who built financial infrastructure for Nepal, a 16-year-old using visual art to change school culture. Its premise is that the most interesting answers about what's possible often come from people who haven't yet been told what isn't.
My favorite conversation so far is the one with Subigya, the 14-year-old who built the stock market simulation for Nepal.
The student publication of BBIS Berlin. As Editor-in-Chief, my role is less about writing than about deciding what to assign and to whom. That means exercising editorial judgment over which questions the school community should be asking and which angles haven't yet been covered. Our editorial focus is accountability reporting and cross-cultural analysis for a community of more than seventy nationalities. Under my leadership, we have published 16 editions.
My favourite piece of my own is "Not by Blood" (December 2025), which explores my struggle with questions about my origins and what it means to be American as the child of Indian immigrants. I argue that American identity is defined by shared values, experiences, and active participation rather than by ancestry or bloodline.
Personal essays: on migration and belonging, on what podcast guests say when I stop recording, on what a photo exhibition about conflict actually feels like when you're standing in front of it. Less formal than the research; it's where I figure out what I think before I know how to argue it.
Economic and policy analysis of current events: what the pricing of lab-grown meat reveals about regulatory capture, what the renewables transition implies for energy geopolitics, what it means that the post-WWII order is reorganizing without American leadership. The goal isn't to summarize what happened but to ask what the structure underneath it implies.

A 5-episode documentary series with guest expert interviews exploring how AI reshapes global industries; it was the format experiment that became Beyond the Headlines. Presented at the BBIS personal project exhibition.
AI:ON playlist on YouTubeFounded within the BBIS Economics Club, which I lead. Every week, four students from a rotating panel of eleven sit down for a recorded discussion: no script, structured questions. I host and run the show. The format is deliberate: defending a position in real time, against people who have read the same material and disagree, produces different thinking than writing to a prompt alone. Economics as it actually works: contested, alive, and occasionally wrong.
